My Experience

2009 – 2013

Jr. Web Designer

InSitu Inhouse University Advertising Agency

While studying at the University of Communication, I had the exciting opportunity to collaborate with my team on designing and publishing all digital communication materials across various digital and print platforms. This hands-on experience allowed me to apply what I was learning in the classroom to real-world projects, making my education even more meaningful.

We worked tirelessly to create visually engaging content that captured the essence of our university’s brand and effectively communicated our messages. Balancing my studies with this role not only enhanced my skills in digital design and communication but also sparked my passion for creating compelling narratives that resonate with audiences.

2012 – 2014

HTML CSS3 instructor

Kinezis Art Lab

I served as an instructor of HTML and CSS at a prestigious design school in Mexico City, where I had the privilege of teaching a diverse group of professionals from various fields. This role allowed me to share my passion for web development while helping students build their foundational skills in coding. I enjoyed tailoring my teaching approach to suit the unique backgrounds and needs of each student, fostering a collaborative learning environment where creativity and technical proficiency flourished.

2013 – 2013

Digital Project Manager

Bonobo Digital

As a Digital Project Manager at a programming agency, I directed advertising and digital products for an above-the-line (ATL) and below-the-line (BTL) agency. I was responsible for managing digital products at all stages of development, ensuring seamless collaboration between teams and timely delivery. My successful performance and ability to drive results led the ATL and BTL agency to hire me directly, recognizing my contributions and commitment to excellence.

2013 – 2015

Digital Project Manager

Agencia Viva

I was responsible for overseeing all digital campaigns at the ATL and BTL agency, where I not only managed strategies but also stepped in to assist with design work during peak periods. My time there was particularly rewarding, as we became the first small agency in Latin America to win Cannes Lion Award for Best Outdoor Advertising Campaign, among other prestigious awards. I take immense pride in having been part of a team that achieved such recognition, reflecting our creativity and dedication.

2016 – 2018

Digital Marketing Manager

OH POMP! Jeans

I led the digital marketing and design efforts for the first online store of a prestigious jeans brand in Mexico. My primary focus was on growing the brand’s social media presence, transforming its following from just a few hundred to over one hundred thousand engaged followers. This experience allowed me to blend creativity with strategic marketing, driving brand awareness and fostering a vibrant online community around the product.

2018 – 2021

Web designer & E-commerce Manager

Freelance

While working as a flight attendant for the largest airline in my country, I simultaneously pursued freelance web design, managing various online stores on major e-commerce platforms in Mexico, such as Amazon and Mercado Libre. This dual role allowed me to leverage my creativity and technical skills, balancing my passion for design with the demands of my aviation career.

2019-2023

Flight Attendant

Aeromexico

I worked for the largest airline in my home country, where I honed my customer service, first aid, and safety skills. This experience enhanced my ability to communicate effectively and manage high-pressure situations, which are invaluable in web design and marketing. The customer-focused mindset I developed allows me to create user-centered designs and marketing strategies. Additionally, my role required strong project management skills to ensure seamless service delivery, making me adept at coordinating tasks and collaborating with diverse teams.

2020-2022

Semillita

Business owner and seller

During the COVID-19 pandemic, the airline where I worked as a flight attendant laid me off due to a significant decline in flight demand. In response, I seized the opportunity to launch a successful business specializing in plants, flowers, and decorations, located in one of Mexico City’s most renowned neighborhoods. My marketing and selling skills played a crucial role in its success, allowing me to effectively promote my offerings and connect with customers. Eventually, I decided to close the business to relocate to Canada because I found the love of my life. While awaiting my permanent residence approval, I embraced new opportunities and experiences in this beautiful country. This journey not only enhanced my business management and customer relations skills but also deepened my personal fulfillment.
